CBI raids six petrol pumps

MUMBAI: The CBI on Wednesday conducted raids on six petrol pumps across the metropolis following reports of petrol and diesel adulteration.

"Raids were conducted on two petrol pumps in Navi Mumbai and four on the Silvasa Road. We have collected samples of petrol and diesel which will be sent for analysis to find out if they are adulterated," CBI DIG Pravin Salunke said.

Of the six petrol pumps, four are of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and one each of Bharat Petroleum (BP) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation.
