CBI raids residences of two aides of Janardhana Reddy

BELLARY: Continuing its raids in connection with the illegal mining scam, CBI today conducted searches at the residences of two aides of arrested former Karnataka Minister G Janardhana Reddy in Bellary district.

Teams from the agency started the raids since morning at the residences of transporters Karapudi Mahesh and Swasthik Garek, who are both absconding, officials said, adding some more raids are expected.

Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law and and MD of Obulapuram Mining Corporation, B V Srinivasa Reddy, arrested by CBI on September 5 in connection with the illegal mining probe, are in the agency's custody till today.
