Ryan school boy killing: CBI apprehends Class 11 student, no evidence against conductor
CBI has apprehended a Class XI student in connection with the killing of a seven-year-old schoolboy in Gurgaon's Ryan International School, sources said.

The student was apprehended from his house in Sohna on Tuesday night and produced before the Juvenile Justice Court, which remanded him to three-day custody for questioning in connection with the murder of Pradyuman Thakur in the school bathroom on September 8. His father denied accusations of the student’s involvement in the crime.
With the arrest of the teenager, the agency debunked the claims of the Haryana police, which had arrested school bus conductor Ashok Kumar on charges of murdering the boy.
The victim’s father has demanded the death sentence for the accused and strict action against the errant Haryana cops for the coverup.
The arrest of the class XI student is on the basis of scientific evidence, inspection of the crime scene, forensic analysis and a study of CCTV footage and call records, CBI spokesperson Abhishek Dayal said on Wednesday.
The spokesperson said the 16-yearold student was weak in studies and Pradyuman turned out to be a random target. The teenager allegedly asked Pradhyuman to come to the toilet and slit his throat with a knife he had purchased two days earlier.
