BJP on Monday hit out at AAP for protests by its functionaries against Manish Sisodia's arrest. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that the law was taking its own course, terming AAP a "kattar beimaan party (hardcore dishonest party)".

Bhatia told media persons in New Delhi: "If AAP believes that CBI's action is driven by political malice as it has alleged, then it should have gone to court as probe in the suspected corruption in the framing of excise policy had been going on for months... Two of his six ministers are now behind bars in corruption cases.

Kejriwal should take moral responsibility and tender his resignation immediately. After all, the chief minister is the first among equals and leads the Cabinet."
