Captivity of Indians 'a searing impact of Arab instability'
Swaraj on August 4 had assured Rajya Sabha that the government would "leave no stone unturned" for the safe return of Indian nationals in captivity in Iraq.

"The continued captivity of the innocent Indian workers in Mosul and the holding of seven Indian sea-farers in prolonged custody by pirates in Somalia have brought home to ordinary Indians the searing impact of regional instability in parts of the Arab world," she said speaking at an event here.

40 Indian workers were kidnapped two months ago in Mosul out of which one had managed to escape.
