Captain Amarinder Singh to spend a day each in Punjab's all seats
The major strategy, framed by campaign strategist Prashant Kishor and his team, will be announced at a news conference in Chandigarh.

The major strategy, framed by campaign strategist Prashant Kishor and his team, will be announced at a news conference in Chandigarh on Tuesday in the presence of top party leaders of the state, sources said. Singh is slated to launch the ambitious programme from Fazilka, the home district of Sukhbir Badal on June 19.
“The state-wide campaign aims at refreshing the memory of the voters regarding the work done by Captain Amarinder Singh in his last tenure as chief minister. We are working on this core aspect of connecting every individual across Punjab from all walks of life,” said those engaged in strategising the campaign from Kishor’s Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC).
As per the programme, Singh will visit each assembly segment and spend the entire day interacting with party workers and cross sections of the public. The programme is also part of IPAC’s strategy to galvanise the party from the grassroots level — from booth committees, assembly segments and DCCs — to take on the challenge from the Akali-BJP front and AAP.
Backing up the plan will be the Congress fontal organisations in the state. Ahead of the launch of the programme, Kishor held meetings with all frontal organisation chiefs including office-bearers of Intuc, Sewadal, Mahila Congress, Kisan Mazdoor cell, NSUI, SC/ST cells.
The latest programme backs up other campaign plans launched by Team Kishor, including ‘Coffee With Captain’, designed to help the Congress chief connect with the youth.
