BANGALORE: The ruling Congress in Karnataka hinted at a reshuffle of the Siddaramaiah ministry after the upcoming legislature session is over as voices are being raised within the party against some ministers on different issues.

“We have received a lot of suggestions regarding how to fulfill promises made by the party to the people and take the state to the number one position once again. Keeping all this in mind, after this session we will do some fine tuning,” KPCC president G Parameshwara told reporters here.

“There are also chances of a reshuffle, because we have heard some voices about non-performance of few of them. To clear it, there might be a situation where we may have to go for a minor reshuffle,” he said.

“The chief minister and I will discuss with our leadership about this in the days to come and take a decision,” he added.

At the inconclusive Congress Legislature Party meeting on Thursday, legislators expressed unhappiness about the functioning of a few ministers, including their inaccessibility. The CLP would meet again on June 23, when the monthlong legislature session begins.
