Bypolls are not a true reflection of the reality: AP CM Chandrababu Naidu
Coming out in support of NDA, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said bypolls were not a "true reflection" of the reality.

Reacting to questions on the RJD-JD(U)-Congress alliance stealing the show in Bihar, he said that bypolls are not a "true reflection of the reality."
Naidu's TDP is part of the BJP-led NDA. Asked about India deciding against holding Secretary level talks with Pakistan, he said protecting the borders of the country was also important.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited all the SAARC leaders to show his good intentions. But protecting the borders and the country is also important," he said.
Referring to the meeting with Modi here today, Naidu said he discussed issues relating to the Andhra Pradesh Bifurcation Act.
The meeting comes on a day when Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has written to Modi expressing her concerns over extending tax benefits to AP and Telangana.
"Things were promised in the Act. They have to give it," he said.
Elaborating on the roadmap for the development of AP, Naidu said he has set vision 2029 with an aim to achieve seven missions. He said that the government is working on attracting investments in tourism, gas and education sectors.
"We want to make AP into a knowledge hub. We want to offer health and education services," he said pointing out that several corporate hospitals were funded by AP-based people.
