In J&K, the BJP and PDP won one seat each, leaving the ruling National Conference embarrassed. BJP's Devyani Rana won Nagrota with 42,350 votes, while PDP's Aga Muntazir Mehdi took Budgam, defeating his uncle and NC candidate Aga Mahmood by 4,478 votes
