Buzzing about 'gun salute'

There are increasing whispers in the political corridors about a brewing effort to engineer defections from among the Congress MLAs of Maharashtra. With the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra about to enter Maharashtra in about a week, the AICC circles are apprehensive whether the defection plot would play out as an unwanted 'saffron gun salute' for the Rahul yatra in Maharashtra.
