Businessman robbed of Rs 32 lakh

ALIGARH: Two motorcycle-borne criminals robbed a city businessman of Rs 32 lakh at noon on Tuesday.

A briefcase containing the amount was snatched from the cashier of Vikas Choudhary at gunpoint when he was leaving for the bank in a car.

Choudhary owns the franchise of Hero Honda Motorcycles in the city and lives at Awas Vikas Colony where the robbery took place.

Senior Superintendent of Police Raghuveer Lal said police are interrogating the cashier and the car driver, adding that vigilance has been stepped up at all exit points of the city.
