Susheel Kumar new coal Secy, 18 other bureaucrats reshuffled
Coal Secretary Anil Swarup appointed School Education Secretary as part of a top-level bureaucratic reshuffle effected today.

Anil Swarup, a 1981 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training.
Susheel Kumar, 82 batch IAS officer from UP, will be the new coal secretary among new appointments that will see as many as 19 changes. Yudhvir Singh Malik will be the new chairman of NHAI, moving from special secretary NITI Aayog. Malik was the FSSAI chairman during the Maggi ban controversy last year.
Malik will have a huge task at his hands meeting government’s ambitious road construction target of 10,000 km for the current year. Malik will also have to get the work started on the Delhi-Meerut expressway.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been personally monitoring this project and has already told the roads ministry to finish the work within the timeline of two years.
PM had shown his displeasure for the delay in starting construction of Delhi-Meerut expressway during a recent Pragati meeting with secretaries.
KP Krishnan, 83 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, moves to secretary in the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship from special secretary in the department of land resources of the rural development ministry. Seema Bahuguna, 1983 batch of Rajasthan cadre, will take over as secretary in the department of public enterprises, one which is in the thick of action because of strategic sales.
Rajeev Kapoor, 1983 batch IAS officer from UP cadre, will take over as secretary in the ministry of new and renewable energy.
