Burdwan blast: Zia-ul-Haque sent to 7-day NIA custody
NIA had yesterday arrested Haque for allegedly indoctrinating youth for training by showing 'Jihadi' videos related to Gujarat and Assam violence.

Appearing before the court of Mumtaj Khan, NIA counsel Shyamal Ghosh prayed for 14 days' remand for Haque, but the court granted seven days.
The NIA counsel pleaded that since the probe was in an early stage, a longer custody would enable the investigating agency to gather more information from the accused.
They said that Haque was a member of the Jamaat-ul- Mujahideen Bangladesh and was also in contact with absconding Yusuf Sheikh alias Moulana Yusuf.
