Bungalow to Swamy proves he working at PMO's behest: Youth Congress
NEW DELHI: Youth Congress today held protest outside the residence of Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu to oppose Centre's decision to allot a bungalow to Subramanian Swamy, claiming it proved that the BJP leader was doing vendetta politics against Gandhi family at the "PMO's behest".

Leading the protest, Youth Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja said, "This clearly proves that Swamy is getting all the directions from PMO in the National Herald case and in return, he has been gifted a Type-VII Bungalow and Z+ security at the expense of tax-payer's money which is not at all acceptable."

The IYC workers burnt effigies of the Prime Minister, Urban Development Minister Naidu and Swamy.

"IYC workers were detained by the Delhi Police and were beaten up by the police. Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress (DPYC) President Amit Malik got hurt badly and was then taken for treatment," the Youth Congress alleged in a press release.

Attacking the government for "gifting" the bungalow to Swamy, the youth wing of the party questioned the government on what grounds they allotted this "luxury" to the BJP leader as he neither belongs to any of the Houses of Parliament, nor does he face any threat from any terrorist organisation.

"This is a big question and every citizen demands an answer from the Prime Minister," it said.
