Bulletproof bathroom for Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao

HYDERABAD: Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has had his bathroom bulletproofed because, clearly, heavily armed security personnel, "mine-proof" cars and a residence guarded like a fortress aren't enough for the Z+ security protectee.

A bathroom in his palatial new home in Begumpet, which sprawls over one lakh sq ft, has been fitted with bulletproof glass (ventilators and windows). And two bedrooms, the CM's and that of his son, too have been fitted with bulletproof glass. "It is important to negate every possible threat. This house will be the official bungalow and the money spent on security will not go waste," a senior Telangana police officer said.
