BSP's support to UPA will continue: Maya
Mayawati said BSP will continue to support the UPA at the Centre.
"The BSP has extended support to the UPA government in the national interest to weaken communal forces and it (support) will continue," the BSP supremo told reporters here.
The support was extended to UPA to save it from blackmailing by other parties, she said in apparent reference to arch political rival SP.
She, however, clarified that her party's support should not be taken as weakness.
Mayawati's remarks came in the backdrop of a speculation that BSP, having 21 members in the Lok Sabha, might withdraw support to the Congress-led UPA after the Joshi episode.
