BSP expels former RS MP Dara Singh Chauhan

LUCKNOW: The BSP today expelled its former Rajya Sabha MP Dara Singh Chauhan on the charges of indiscipline and anti-party activities.

"After verifying reports by party's Azamgarh unit about indiscipline and anti-party activities of Dara Singh Chauhan from different sources, BSP state president, Ram Achal Rajbhar has today expelled him from the party," a statement from the party said here.

"He had been expelled from the party earlier, too on similar charges but was taken back after he had tendered an apology," the party release said.

Chauhan has again repeated his mistakes and so is being expelled in the interest of the party, it said and clarified that Chauhan would not be taken back into the party fold in future.
