LUCKNOW: Former UP minister Daddu Prasad was today expelled from BSP for alleged involvement in anti-party activities.

"On the report given by Chitrakoot division unit and after inquiry from different sources, state president Ram Achal Rajbhar today expelled Prasad from the party" for anti-party activities, a BSP spokesman said here.

It said that though Daddu had been warned earlier, he failed to mend his ways.

"He has been expelled in the interest of the party," he said.

Daddu Prasad was Rural Development Minister in the erstwhile Mayawati government.
