LUCKNOW: Opposition BSP today accused a UP Government's minister of misbehaving with the staff and students of a government girls' school at Banda while he conducted an inspection there.

The issue was raised by the BSP members through an adjournment notice during the Zero Hour. They alleged that a Minister of State for Secondary Education misbehaved with the staff and students during inspection of the school on November 7.

Leader of the Opposition Naseemuddin Siddiqui alleged that the minister used "indecent" language during inspection and "insulted" the principal, teachers and students.

He said the minister should tender a public apology. Replying on behalf of the government, Backward Welfare Minister Ambika Chaudhary said the matter was serious, but raising it through adjournment notice was against the rules.

Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council Ganesh Shanker Pandey reserved his decision on the matter and said that he would hear the members in this regard on November 26.
