BSNL to put up 300 Access Points at 100 different locations for Wi-Fi services within Assam

GUWAHATI: Bharat Sachar Nigam Limited ( BSNL) on Friday announced that the company intends to put up 300 Access Points at 100 different locations for Wi-Fi services within Assam during the current Financial Year.

BSNL in a statement stated BSNL in collaboration with GOIP Global Services Private Limited to put up WiFi hotspots in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

BSNL Assam circle in a statement stated GOIP & BLUETOWN (a Danish Innovative company) as technology partner has put first Wi-Fi hotspot in Assam at Shaktipeeth of Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati.
