Brown meets Singh
Brown met Singh and discussed the situation in wake of Mumbai attacks.
Making an unscheduled visit to India, Brown met Singh over breakfast few hours after his tour of border areas of Afghanistan.
Senior officials, including Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister T K A Nair, were also present during the meeting.
India is understood to have shared evidence about involvement of the Pakistan-based terrorists in the attacks in the country's financial capital.
Brown's visit comes in the wake of rising tensions between India and Pakistan over the Mumbai terror strikes.
Soon after the November 26 Mumbai strikes, Brown had spoken to Singh and sent a message to him expressing outrage over the incident and asserted that the attacks should be met with a "vigorous response".
Britain has already sent to India a special team of police that has expertise in dealing with terrorism.
The British Prime Minister had arrived here in the wee hours yesterday and left for Afghanistan from here. He returned to the national capital late last night.
