NEW DELHI: It was a breezy morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 6.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, even as a shallow fog today resulted in the delay of 11 Delhi-bound trains.

"The minimum temperature was recorded at 6.8 degrees at 8.30 AM. The humidity was 93 per cent," a MeT official said.

The visibility was 1,000 metres.

Meanwhile, although flight operations were normal, 43 trains remained cancelled as announced earlier.

The weatherman has predicted a clear day ahead with the possibility of shallow fog in some areas tomorrow morning.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at around 23 and 7 degrees, respectively," the official said.

Yesterday, the minimum was recorded at 7.7 degrees while the maximum had settled at 23.4 degrees.
