Breaking Covid-19 chain, lifting lockdown Maharashtra govt’s priority: Aaditya Thackeray

Currently the government is working toward flattening the curve of Covid19 in the state. Post lockdown the government will be working on a reformed way for slum rehabilitation authority (SRA), Minister of Tourism and Environment said.

MUMBAI: Breaking the Coronavirus chain and lifting the lockdown is the foremost objective of the government of Maharashtra, said Aaditya Thackeray, Minister of Tourism and Environment, Government of Maharashtra.

“Economic pain is immense however first priority today is to save lives. When we break the chain of this virus, we will be able to lift the lock down and focus on bringing back normalcy,” he said while addressing real estate developers at a webinar hosted by builders’ body NAREDCO.

Maharashtra has tested over 75,838 samples out of which 6% have tested positive while 94% were negative.
