Boy arrested for sending threat-email to Anil Ambani

Rajesh Kr Agarwal, a student from Dhanbad district of Jharkand, was arrested from his home and is being brought to Mumbai, ACP (crime) Deven Bharti said.

MUMBAI: A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for posing as a Pakistani national and sending threatening email to industrialist Anil Ambani, police said here.

Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, a student from Dhanbad district of Jharkand, was arrested from his home and is being brought to Mumbai, additional commissioner of police (crime) Deven Bharti said here today.

The accused allegedly sent the email from his personal email address "jannuhm@rediffmail.com" to Ambani's personal email address on January 15, threatening to kill him, Bharti said. He refused to divulge more details about the content of the mail.

Agarwal identified himself as a Pakistani national in the email, Bharti said.
