Paying Last Respect to Amma
AIADMK’s office in Parliament wore a solemn look on Tuesday as both the Houses got adjourned after paying tributes to Jayalalithaa. Though top leaders across political spectrum travelled to Chennai to pay their tributes, there were very few visitors as party legislators were camping in Chennai. However, almost entire Shiv Sena flock visited AIADMK office in Parliament while some legislators of TDP and BJD too joined in to pay respect.










Plans to change working model
The new secretary of school education, Anil Swarup, may have made the shift from the coal sector but there are two major to-dos that he plans to bring in to HRD from his previous workplace.

Just like the coal ministry became paperless, Swarup aims to bring the same model to HRD. A firm believer in decentralisation, Swarup also plans to go to states and solve issues there like he did as coal secretary, instead of issuing diktats from Delhi.








A father’s advice to son
Though most of the political leaders made it to Chennai to pay their last respects, there were some who could not go. SP chief Mulayam Singh was one of them. So, he suggested his son and UP CM Akhilesh Yadav to use his resources to make it to Chennai as only the CM could do that on such a short notice.
