Bootleg liquor kills at least 12 on tea plantation as dozens fall ill
The deaths come less than two weeks after more than 100 people died after drinking tainted alcohol in India.

He blamed the excise department for the tragedy. Congress has sought the resignation of excise minister Parimal Suklabaidya.
Leader of the Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly, Debabrata Saikia, sought an inquiry into the tragedy.
Around 27 people have been referred to the Jorhat Medical College for better treatment, the condition of some of them is stated to be serious.
