Booking for 'Maitree Express' begins on Friday

KOLKATA: Booking for much-awaited 'Maitree Express' between India and Bangladesh started on Friday at Fairlie Place Reservation office here.
Tickets for the journey would be available at Foreign Tourist Passenger Reservation Counter from 10 am to 5 pm on week days, an Eastern Railway release said.
On Sundays and national holidays, booking would be available between 10 am and 2 pm, it said.
Tickets for journey from Kolkata to Dhaka could be booked 10 days in advance excluding the day of journey and booking of tickets would be closed at 3 pm on previous day of departure of the train. There is no provision for return journey tickets, the release said.
Tickets will be issued only on production of valid documents like passport, visa for all passengers, including children below five years of age, it said.
