Bonhomie between PM Narendra Modi, Congress on social media as Sonia Gandhi takes ill

VARANASI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi's sudden illness towards the end of the roadshow in Varanasi saw an interesting exchange between Prime minister Narendra Modi and Congress over Twitter.

Modi tweeted from his personal handle "Heard about Sonia ji’s ill health during her Varanasi visit today. I pray for her quick recovery and good health".
Gandhi who was leading the six kilometre long roadshow, in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency Varanasi, reported high temperature towards the last leg of the roadshow and the event was cancelled and she was rushed back to Delhi.

Modi's tweet saw the Congress' official Twitter handle tweeting "thank you @narendramodi Ji".
