As part of better coordination between the party MPs and government, BJP Cabinet ministers are meeting a group of about 50 MPs in this winter session. So far, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar and Health Minister JP Nadda have hosted dinner meeting for MPs from south and central India, respectively. Arun Jaitley hosted MPs from smaller northern Indian states on Tuesday.



Many eyebrows raised in House
A multi-coloured kurta with photos of Mamata Banerjee printed on it raised many eyebrows in the House. It happened when a TMC MP came to the Lok Sabha Well wearing such a ‘protest garment’. Siting in the front row, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was visibly curious about such strange costume. Sportingly, the ‘protesting’ MP obliged the amused FM by giving him a ‘close up’ of his outfit.



‘Dealings’ of Maha minister
The “dubious dealings” of a Maharashtra minister is raising many eyebrows, both in the state and Delhi. One of his children is always present in his chamber, ‘facilitating’ projects that are cleared. Despite murmurs growing louder, the minister surprisingly hasn’t being pulled up yet. However, he was recently called to Delhi and asked to mend his ways after complaints from some aggrieved realtors reached the PM.

Currency hunt in Parliament
Parliament may not have worked for 10-odd days over currency recall. But there are two spots inside the complex that has become a day-long ‘karmabhumi’ for many. The queues at the two ATM counters — one in a corridor of Parliament House and another in Library Building — are the current hot spots where everyone is on a ‘currency hunt’.
