Bomb warning in Kanpur city mall
Police are on high alert following a telephonic warning of an impending explosion at Global Shopping Mall located in the crowded city centre in Kanpur.

Kanpur: Police are on high alert following a telephonic warning of an impending explosion at Global Shopping Mall located in the crowded city centre here.
SP (City) Manoj Sonkar said police initiated search operations at the mall's premises after they were contacted by
a citizen who received the blast threat on his mobile from an unidentified caller.
A bomb squad accompanied the police team which visited the site but no explosive has been found, Sonkar said.
Security has been intensified at all cinema halls, malls and chopping complexes in the city following the threat.
