Guwahati: A powerful bomb explosion took place near Misamari army cantonment in Assam's Sonitpur district.
The explosion took place in Gorubanda bazaar in Sontipur district. Sources in police said several persons are feared to be injured in the blast which took place around 2.45pm an Thursday. The bomb was planted in a cycle.
Sources said that the explosion is suspected to be triggered by Ranjan Daimary fraction National Democratic Front of Boroland
