IMPHAL: A powerful bomb, suspected to have been planted by militants, went off today at Nagamapal Shingjubung Leirak near Imphal town in Manipur.

The bomb, which exploded at about 10.55 am, was planted on the side of a narrow road to attack the security forces, officials said.

No one was injured and there was no damage in the explosion, they said
