MUMBAI: The Khans may or may not have buried the hatchet, but both Aamir and Shah Rukh are united in one intention: they will vote on April 30. While Shah Rukh will fly down from South Africa where his cricket team will be slugging it out for the Indian Premier League, Aamir will come down from the US to cast his vote. Stars kept away from campaigning, but it appears they are keen on getting the ink mark on their index finger.

Shah Rukh, who left for South Africa on Monday, told TOI, I will be in between matches on D-day , and I will definitely vote. He was clear about how is going to make a choice. Voting is easy all you got to do is take some time off and figure out who are the people standing in your constituency. Take two three days to figure it out. What kind of work they are doing/ have done and then make an informed choice.

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who has donned the role of a politician and is now general secretary of the Samajwadi Party, too, will not waste his vote. The actor said, I am spending all my time in Lucknow but I will not waste my vote. I will make the trip to Mumbai and cast my vote. Aamir Khan, who has been asking voters to pick the right candidate through his ad films, will come back from the US where he is holidaying.

The politcally conscious Preity Zinta, who has turned down offers from parties to contest and campaign, has said that she will definitely vote. Zinta is currently in South Africa for IPL but will be flying back to Mumbai on April 30.

The stars also have a message. As Shah Rukh said, Dont complain if you have not voted. You have the right to complain about the government if you have voted.
