MUMBAI: Bollywood biggies including thespian Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan today attended the prayer meet held in the memory of veteran actor Pran who passed away on Friday.

Pran, loved and feared in equal measure by movie-goers for his roles in Bollywood hits like 'Milan', 'Madhumati' and 'Zanjeer', passed away at the age of 93 due to prolonged illness.

Among those attended the 'Chautha', held between 5 to 6 PM at a Gurudwara in suburban Santacruz, were actors Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya, Dilip Kumar, Sairabanu, Karan Johar's mother Hiroo, Prem Chopra, Shabana Azmi and Randhir Kapoor.

Also spotted were Sanjay Khan, Subhash Ghai, Ramesh Taurani, Suresh Oberoi, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, Govind Nihlani, Gulshan Grover, music director Anandji, Raza Murad and others.

The star appeared in more than 350 Hindi movies in a prolific career spanning six decades.

Pran is survived by wife Shukla Sikand, two sons and a daughter.
