The body of B Kiran, the software engineer from Andhra Pradesh who was shot dead by unidentified persons in South Africa, will arrive in Hyderabad on Saturday.
The body was handed over to the Indian High Commission officials after post mortem was conducted, police sources said here today.
The post-mortem was conducted at a government hospital at Park Town in Johannesburg, they said.
In a suspected racist attack, Kiran was attacked on Thursday while he returning from work and he succumbed to his injuries yesterday.
The attackers fled away with Kiran's laptop and cell phone after attacking him, his father Sankaraiah said.
The killing of Kiran is the latest in a series of attacks involving students and professionals from Andhra Pradesh on foreign shores.
