BMS wants retired SC judge to head pay commission

Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) on Wednesday demanded that a retired Supreme Court Judge be appointed as head of the proposed Sixth Central Pay Commission.

NEW DELHI: Sangh Parivar-affiliated trade union Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) on Wednesday demanded that a retired Supreme Court Judge be appointed as head of the proposed Sixth Central Pay Commission.
BMS President Girish Awasthi, in a statement here, also demanded that the notification for constitution of the Commission be issued immediately.
He also demanded an Interim Relief of at least Rs 1,000 per month till the Commission's report was implemented
