Black flag demos against WB, Kerala CMs on March 29: BJP
The BJP said it would stage black flag demonstrations against the West Bengal and Kerala CM to protest against the Nandigram incident and recent attacks on RSS-BJP workers in Kannur.
The two leaders, Buddadebh Bhattacharjee and V S Achuthanandan, are scheduled to reach here on that day to attend the CPI-M's 19th All India Congress, being held here upto April three.
"The demonstration is to register protest against the incidents in Nandigram in West Bengal and the attacks on BJP-RSS workers in Kannur in Kerala," BJP's Tamil Nadu observer S R Seghar said.
The workers would position themselves at various places from the city airport to the conference venue and stage black flag protests.
"Some workers will also be stationed along the Palakkad main road to cover Achuthanandan by road," he said.
The BJP, Seghar said, was busy collecting photographs of violent incidents in Nandigram and Kannur to conduct an exhibition at a prominent place and show the people the "real face" of the CPI(M), who claim they are the champions of the poor, he said.
Senior party leaders would address public meetings on all six days to make the public aware of the 'double standards' of the CPI(M), since it was indulging in anti-people activities, Seghar said.
