BJP's success in Rajasthan is "victory of truth", says Asaram Bapu

JODHPUR: Self-styled godman Asaram Bapu, lodged in a jail in connection with the sexual assault on a minor girl, termed BJP's success in the Rajasthan Assembly elections as the " victory of truth".

While coming out of a local court today along with four co-accused, Asaram on a question of reporters said, "It (BJP's victory) is the victory of truth... Janta sab jaante hain ki kya ho raha (people know everything of what is happening around)... Everything will be fine with the passage of time."

The self-styled godman had alleged that the Congress was responsible for his implication in the sexual assault case.

Meanwhile, the trial in the case was postponed after two co-accused -- Shilpi and Shiva -- moved a revision petition in the high court today challenging the charges against them.

The court will hear the arguments on the petition on December 11.
