NEW DELHI: BJP’s national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday held a meeting with the BJP MLA of Uttarakhand at BJP’s state office in Dehradun and collected feedback about the party’s preparation for the 2017 assembly polls in the state.

He suggested the party MLAs to spend their good time in their constituencies concerned and remain in touch with the people as well as the party workers. He underlined the need for exposing the Congress-headed Uttarakhand government on issues like corruption.

Vijarvargiya asked the MLAs to strengthen the party organization right at the level of booths in different villages. He told them that there is favourable situation for the BJP to return to power in the state after the assembly polls. Apart from giving emphasis for unity within the party organization, he asked the party leaders to ensure hounour for old workers.

His presence in Uttarakhand clearly indicated about BJP’s concern for putting up a good show of the party in the coming assembly polls in Uttarakhand.
