BJP's civic poll win a vote in favour of Narendra Modi: Amit Shah
KOLKATA: Responding to massive victory in MCD election, BJP national president Amit Shah called it an "unexpected" victory and it "delivers a clear message" across the country about Narendra Modi's leadership in the country.

"BJP'a Vijayrath looks unstoppable . The results also indicate that politics of negativism would not work . People have approved Modi Ji's vision of development," added Shah.

Rubbishing the claim of AAP, Shah said , "Are they suggesting that they won with tampered EVMs in last assembly elections in 2015? I think, Opposition parties should be graceful enough to accept defeat and take results as the opinion of the people."

According to Shah, the same EVMs were used in earlier elections in which UPA I and UPA II came in poqer.
