BJP's ads on poll are misleading: Kamalnath

Kamalnath charged ruling BJP in MP with issuing misleading ads for polls.

BHOPAL: Union Commerce Minister Kamalnath on Tuesday charged the ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh with issuing misleading advertisements for the November 27 assembly elections in the state.

"All the achievements claimed by the BJP government in the last five years are nothing but a big bunch of lies," Kamalnath said in a statement.

He said that all the BJP advertisements appeared to be directed at misleading the people of Madhya Pradesh into voting for the ruling party.

The minister said that the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh had been unable to generate one MW of electricity in the last five years while its ministers were mired deep in corruption.

Kamalnath said after the Congress forms the next government in the state, corruption would be tackled with iron hand and the coffers of the state government would be made available to the poor.
