BJP working to provide stable govt in Jammu & Kashmir: Ram Madhav

JAMMU: Amidst the deadlock over the government formation in Jammu and Kashmir, senior BJP leader Ram Madhav today said the saffron party is working to provide a stable government to the people of the state.

"We are working to provide a stable government to the people of the state," the party general secretary told reporters here today.

He said this close on the heals of a closed-door meeting of the 25 elected members of BJP with a central delegation, led by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley here today.

Earlier, denying reports that BJP's leadership had held discussions with National Conference (NC) on government formation in Jammu and Kashmir, Madhav had tweeted, "News about BJP leaders meeting NC leadership in Delhi baseless".
