BJP workers root for Jaswant Singh at meeting
Members of BJP's district unit forcibly entered party office & held a meeting where they opposed denial of ticket to Jaswant from Barmer & demanded that leadership review its decision.

The meeting was chaired by BJP leader Bhanwar Singh Sadhna and attended by scores of workers at party office here.
It was an unjustice with party workers of Barmer and Jaisalmer, especially Jaswant Singh, and the party should review its decision, Sadhna said.
Former Jaisalmer BJP district president Nathusingh Dohat alleged that the morale of party workers and leaders was weakened by the party high command by giving ticket to an "outsider", referring to Sonaram Chaudhury who joined BJP just a few days ago and was given ticket from Barmer.
Local counsellor Hari Singh Sodha said BJP should not compromise with basic principles and opposed giving tickets to "turncoats".
Some of the executive members of district BJP unit did not participate in today's meeting. Holding protest, they decided to go to Barmer where Jaswant Singh announced that he would file nomination as an independent candidate probably tomorrow.
Singh's supporters and party workers had to jump the wall of the office and break open the locks of a room to hold the meeting here, party sources said.
