BJP workers’ killers be neutralised soon: Ram Madhav
Stating that the killing of Bari had saddened the party and that the visit was to provide immediate help to the family, Madhav said relief of ₹10 lakh was handed over to the family members.

Madhav, along with Union minister Jitendra Singh and the party’s national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna, reached Bandipora on Sunday morning to pay condolences to Bari’s family.
“We are pained by the killing of Bari and his family members… the killers should be tracked and neutralised soon,” Madhav told media persons outside Bari’s residence in Bandipora. The BJP leader demanded that the administration in Kashmir provide proper security cover to all BJP workers. “We stand in solidarity with our workers in Kashmir,” said Madhav.

Bari is survived by his wife Syed Falak, their two children and his sister Gousia, who is also a member of BJP.
On July 8, around 7:45 pm, gunmen shot Bari, his father Bashir Ahmad and his brother Umar when they were in their shop a few metres away from the police station.
