The BJP chief went hammer and tongs after Kumar and said he had betrayed the mandate of the people by snapping 17 year old ties with BJP.
"The BJP-JD(U) alliance was voted to power only because the people was fed up with the jungle raj associated with the RJD government . But Nitishji has again resurrected the dark and dreary days of jungle raj by aligning with Lalu.. Again who will the leader of the alliance Nitish or Rabri Devi" mocked Shah while asserting the people will never support Kumar by remaining in the compa ny of the RJD chief.
"In BJP ruled states , development is happening at a fast pace and I am sure that Bihar too emerge as the front ranking states under the leadership of Narendra Modi. I urge the party workers to work indefatigably for scripting 2/3rd win for the BJP in the state assembly elections" the BJP chief remarked.
Referring to the Land Acquisition Bill, Shah said an impression was being created that the corporate would be a big beneficiary on account of this legislation. "But I want to allay all such fears which are baseless and unfounded. Not a single inch of land will be handed over to the corporate , the land instead will be used for the irrigation purpose and for the development of villages " Shah said taking a dig at Kumar who he said had staged a day long fast to oppose the bill but handed over the land of 12 sugar mills to private players.
