BJP wants Virbhadra Singh, Harish Rawat to step down
CHANDIGARH: BJP today demanded resignation of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and his Uttarakhand counterpart Harish Rawat, who, the party claimed, were involved in graft cases.

There is concrete evidence against Singh and Rawat confirming their involvement in corruption cases, BJP national spokesperson Tarun Chugh said.

Chugh also accused Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul of protecting them.

He said Congress was making false allegations against Union Minister Sushma Swaraj and BJP chief ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Vasundhara Raje "with out any evidence against them".

"Congress is holding Parliament to ransom" and not letting it function. BJP is ready for a debate on "anything and everything", he asserted.
