BJP walks out of all party meeting

The BJP delegation walked out of the meeting alleging that those who were accused in the Makhra and Chowmandalpur cases were present in the meeting.

SURI: The BJP walked out of the all party meeting called at Parui police station in Birbhum district to restore peace in the area which has been rocked by political violence.

The BJP delegation walked out of the meeting alleging that those who were accused in the Makhra and Chowmandalpur cases were present in the meeting.

Dudkumar Mondal, the district president of BJP who led the party delegation said "when the meeting was going on we came to know two local leaders of TMC who were accused in two murder cases of our supporters were present in the meeting. We strongly protested and left the meeting."

Malay Mukherjee, the district vice-president of TMC said "the meeting started and was going on smoothly. But suddenly the BJP representatives raised objection about the presence of two of our local leaders."

The meeting was called by the police to restore peace in the area which was been rocked by political violence.
