KOLKATA: BJP leadership today vowed to "intensify" the party's campaign against the Trinamool Congress regime in the state and said will not stop till TMC is defeated in next year's assembly polls.

"We will intensify our struggle in the days to come. We will not stop until and unless this undemocratic government of TMC is thrown out of power and we make West Bengal free of it," BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said.

BJP today organised a road blockade program in various parts of the state to protest against the attack on party's central leadership yesterday in the state during a program.

Some BJP workers, including party national secretary Siddharth Nath Singh and Suresh Pujari, were injured in a lathicharge by police during a law-violation programme in North 24 Parganas district yesterday, a claim the police denied.

In Bidhanagar area of North 24 Parganas 11 BJP activists were detained for trying to enforce the road blockade during the day.

In other parts of the state too several BJP activists were detained while trying to enforce the blockade.
