KOLKATA: Clashes between Trinamool and BJP in Parui and adjoining villages of Birbhum district are unlikely to end immediately as both parties have huge volume of improvised weapons and are determined to take control of the villages.

The situation may turn worse after Thursday, when BJP is planned to hold a bandh in Birbhum district. BJP will organise a law violation movement and about 1,500 party workers will court arrest. We may go for Birbhum bandh after our law violation movement on Thursday, party’s Birbhum district president Doodhkumar Mondal told ETon Tuesday.
