BJP tried to finish us with sweet talk: Uddav Thackeray
Uddhav said the BJP was indulging in sweet talk all along but trying to finish off the Sena.

Shiv Sena president Uddav Thackeray called BJP leaders Amit Shah and caretaker chief minister Devendra Fadnavis liars for saying there was no arrangement between the two parties for sharing the chief minister’s post.
Uddhav said the BJP was indulging in sweet talk all along but trying to finish off the Sena.
“It has hurt and pained me that Fadnavis said that there was no agreement on sharing the chief minister’s post – by saying this they have tried to prove me a liar,” Uddhav said at a press conference. “By using Amit Shah’s name… to say that no such agreement was made shows how power-hungry they are.”Uddhav said he had a telephonic conversation with Shah on sharing the CM’s post, which the BJP chief agreed to during negotiations for the Lok Sabha polls and this was further cemented when Shah visited his home in Mumbai.
“It was again discussed and decided when Shah came to my home and Fadnavis was there – the latter requested me not to make this public as it could create problems for him in the party and hence, we worded it as equal sharing of power. Now I know why they said that to me,” said Uddhav. Admitting the claim that he had rebuffed Fadnavis’s attempt to speak to him, Uddav said, “Yes, I did not pick up your call because you called me a liar. I don’t want to be with people who call me a liar. I will not be talking to you as long as you maintain that I have lied.”
He added if the BJP is not able to form the government, then the Sena would stake a claim because it cannot leave the state rudderless.
